I don't really expect anyone to read these journal entries. I just wanted to push down the older one. XD

's visit was AMAZING and I loved her to death and I can't wait to see her again. She's the first person I've ever met first online and then in person. We had a blast, even though the weather in DC was rather dreary.

I went to NYC over the weekend with and we had a great time there, despite the horrible 5-hour bus ride there and back that was filled with obnoxious passengers, uncomfortable seating, and MAMMA MIA! being played on the TVs.
That's like... the only musical I've ever seen that I couldn't stand. I know most people loved it, but I thought the movie just dragged on and on and onnnn with pointless scenes of people running around and doing nothing at all. And most of the people on the bus were actually going to NYC to see MM on Broadway, so it seemed dumb to watch it on the way there.
We also watched RV and some stupid movie that I couldn't identify because I slept through most of it.

The city itself was wonderful though. We power-walked for about seven hours on end just going around trying to find stuff. XD If I lived in NYC, I'd be in such good physical shape.
We spent most of our time in Chinatown, as usual, because we're in love with the food there. More than anything we love the Taiwanese/Chinese bakeries, with their delicious fruity pastries and honeydew milkshakes and weird little ricecakes and stuff.

I also bought obscene amounts of Pocky, because it was super cheap in Chinatown and there were flavors there that I can't find anywhere in my area. I'm afraid to even open them up and try them... I kinda want to keep them forever and just bask in their chocolately glory.

Sadly, their Pokemon section was tiny and most of their plushies were ugly and poorly-made. I really miss the Pokemon Center store NYC used to have. I only got to visit it twice before it went out, but it was glorious.

On an ending note, I AM SO EXCITIED FOR POKEMON SOUL SILVER/HEART GOLD OMG.
